Major Financial organisation requires a Marketing Analyst to answer key business questions by analysing customer and behavioural data from the Groups datawarehouses.
The job requires the ability to identify how best to analyse data using complex SQL queries (on Terradata or SQL7) as well as GIS to solve real world problems.
The Data Analysis team provides analytical solutions to business problems, interprets the results in a business context, makes meaningful recommendations and provides analysis consultancy to the business units.
We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic individual to join the Data Analysis team to help Database Marketing build on its reputation as a centre of excellence for using data analysis and mining to derive useful customer insights.
You will be involved in the execution of analysis projects that will increase our understanding of the past, present and expected behaviour of our customers. Utilising this insight you will help us optimise our decision making.

You must have a numerical degree and should be a proactive team player, show attention to detail and have at least 1 year experience (2 ideally) in an analytical role preferably in a marketing or financial services environment.
You will have the ability to understand complex relational data, and experience of SQL and GIS required.
A high level of computer literacy is a pre-requisite.
