Sales Engineer - Drives & Automation. Business development HND or degree in an engineering discipline with several years design and/or technical selling experience. Industrial Automation exp would be an advantage. Based at home.
Obtain orders to meet or exceed targets.
Develop selected accounts.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations/demonstrations.
Maximise face to face time with customers, minimum 3 visits per day.
Utilise Project system and regularly update the Call Plan.
Provide and update Monthly Order Forecasts.
Perform detailed selection calculations and performance specifications for each application, and introduce a secure and reliable storage system.
Ensure orders obtained are not more than the customer's one year requirement and schedules are updated regularly
Ensure customers obtained are solvent, and help with credit control
Maintain a history and transaction folder for each project for prospects and customers
Account opening maintenance and control.
Send on a daily basis for typing, proposals, faxes, visit reports and project reports
HND/BSc mechanical, electrical, electromechanical or electronic engineering.
Several years' machine design and/or technical selling experience.
Ability to get profitable orders.
