SUMMARY Working for Decision Tools Unit in a major financial institution providing analytical support to the Strategy Managers to ensure the Credit Scoring systems function effectively to optimise portfolio profitability whilst maintaining adherence to credit policies and acceptable asset quality.
JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include: ·To undertake qualitative analysis and statistical reporting on credit scored loan portfolios ·Provide recommendations to Strategy Managers on proposed systems refinement and new developments We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic individual to join the Analysis team to help build on its reputation as a centre of excellence for data analysis. You will be involved in the design, execution and delivery of analysis projects. Working often to tight deadlines in a supportive team environment this is an ideal opportunity to make the most of your analytical skills whilst developing business knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS Candidates for this role would have previous experience of producing management information and providing business summaries. ·A high level of SAS skills. ·An understanding of practical modelling methodologies. ·A self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with minimal supervision. ·Sound written and oral communication skills. ·Educated to degree level in a mathematical science. ·Good interpersonal skills. ·Previous practical experience of credit scoring desirable. ·Knowledge of financial services would be helpfull. |
