JOB DESCRIPTION The Decisioning Analysis team provides analytical solutions to business problems, interprets the results in a business context, makes meaningful recommendations and provides analysis consultancy to the business units. We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic individual to lead the Decisioning Analysis team to help Database Marketing build on its reputation as a centre of excellence for data analysis and customer focus. REQUIREMENTS Core Skills - Minimum 3 years direct marketing experience - Proven track record in the development and delivery of effective targeting for customer communications - Numerate - Good data Interpretation and evaluation skills - Strong organisation skills - Excellent communication and influencing skills - Strong planning skills - Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Key Accountabilities - To manage and ensure the accurate and effective targeting of customer communications to meet agreed objectives - Define the requirements for propensity modelling to support refined targeting - To lead, manage and develop best in class customer decisioning and deployment team to meet current and future business needs - Managing and developing a clear and cogent briefing process to support ad-hoc analysis to meet the specific needs of the business - Management of key agencies - Working closely with Centricas business units to support targeting recommendations in support of business targets - To identify data and research information to improve targeting - Manage and plan the delivery of all customer targeting, both proactive and reactive to support business needs - Responsible for identifying and justifying the need for external data to refine customer targeting - To work closely with the Customer Strategy Managers in proactively inputting into the development of cogent customer strategy through the provision of targeting recommendations - Responsible for the identification of data quality issues and provide input to Data and Development Manager for resolution - To facilitate effective interfaces with key business users - Work with the Customer Data Control Manager to ensure that effective targeting is considered in the development of the customer database - To manage the relationship with key targeting software suppliers - To continually review targeting tools and techniques - Work with the Evaluation and Reporting Manager to ensure the effective and timely measurement and evaluation of all targeted customer communication's - Responsible for ensuring full compliance of all legal, Data Protection and Regulatory guidelines concerning targeted customer communications
