SUMMARY Working for Decision Tools Unit in a major financial institution, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for creating standard reports and investigating areas of Collections strategy that will both increase understanding and add tangible business benefits to Collections and associated areas.Candidates for this role would have previous analytical experience and would have at least a basic understanding of the Collections process and its role within customer lifecycle management. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include: Standard reporting, both creation and on-going value-add commentary. Review and assessment of existing collections information and development of alternative strategies, either within Collections or pre-Collections, including champion/ challenger. Extensive communication / liaison with Global Collections and the business units. Provide feedback on work that has been undertaken and assist planning of new initiatives. You will be involved in the design, execution and delivery of analysis projects. REQUIREMENTS You have previous experience of Producing management information and providing business summaries. Behavioural/performance scoring and the analysis of Champion/Challenger strategies Analysis of Collections & Recoveries in a Financial Services organisation. You have A degree level in a mathematical science with a minimum of 4 years practical experience in a data driven environment Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. A logical approach to problem-solving in relation to both technical and business issues. High level of SAS skills, particularly in working with complex data.
