SUMMARY Working for Credit & Risk Management Department in a major financial institution you will develop credit scorecards and their associated decisioning systems to ensure they function effectively and optimise portfolio profitability.
JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include: To develop application and behavioral scorecards To refine credit strategy to develop more profitable decisioning To undertake qualitative analysis and statistical reporting on credit scored portfolios Provide recommendations to Senior Management on proposed systems refinement and new developments We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic individual to join the Analysis team to help build on its reputation as a centre of excellence for data analysis. You will be involved in the design, execution and delivery of analysis projects. REQUIREMENTS Candidates for this role would have 3 years experience working in a position where the development of statistically based behavioural models would be a core part of their work. In addition the following are required :- A working knowledge of SAS. An ability to idetify collect and analyse complex data An aptitude to think outside the box and understand the bigger picture. An understanding of practical modelling methodologies. Being a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Having sound written and oral communication skills. Good honours degree in a numerate discipline. Strong team player. The following would be desirable:- Experience of financial services. Experience of using Experians Strategy Manager Software.
