Major Financial organisation requires a Marketing Analysis to answer key business questions by analysing customer and behavioural data from the Groups datawarehouses.
The job requires the ability to identify how best to analyse data using complex SQL queries (on terradata or SQL7) to solve real world problems.
The Data Analysis team provides analytical solutions to business problems, interprets the results in a business context, makes meaningful recommendations and provides analysis consultancy to the business units.
We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic individual to join the Data Analysis team to help Database Marketing build on its reputation as a centre of excellence for using data analysis and minin to derive useful customer insights.
You will be involved from end to end in the design, execution and delivery of analysis projects which will increase our understanding of the past, present and expected behaviour of our customers. Utilising this insight you will help us optimise our decisioning.

Educated to at least first degree level you should be a proactive team player, show attention to detail and have at least 4 years experience in an analytical role in a marketing or financial services environment.
You will have the ability to understand complex relational data, and have experience of SQL on Terradata or SQL7 such that you are able to efficiently perform complex queries on large datasets. You will also have experience of statistical analysis using SAS (FA, PCA Clustering and Regression) and have build statistical models to predict customer behaviour.
A high level of computer literacy is a pre-requisite.
