SUMMARY SAS Analyst Programmer for a major Financial Services player working within an internal consultancy team mining data and providing Management Information to impove decision making.
JOB DESCRIPTION The MIS team processes data and turns it into actionable information to drive business decisions. The solutions which are provided address business problems, require interpretation of results to make meaningful recommendations and provides analysis consultancy to the business units.
We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic individual to join the MIS team to help build on its reputation as a centre of excellence for data processing and analysis.
You will be involved from end to end in the design, execution and delivery of projects involving dealing with customers throughout the organisation at a variety of levels.

REQUIREMENTS Educated to degree level you should be a proactive team player, show attention to detail and have at least 3 years experience developing programmes in SAS in a FS or Insurance environment.
You will understand how to write efficient SAS programmes able to handle large volumes of data.
You should show a sound ability to think around problems and be able to convert requirements detailed in business terms into a specification detailing all the critical issues.
You will have the ability to understand how data can address business problems and be able to communicate at all levels.
